Lakeway Christian School and Tabernacle Day Care

We are priveleged to have Lakeway Christian School as a ministry of our church.  LCS was established in 1979.

Pastor Benfield had a burden for Christian Education.  He wanted to offer this education to those families in the church and others who were like-minded.

          The school first started in 1975, with K-5 and Kindergarten.  Then, in 1979, Morristown Baptist Tabernacle added grades 1 – 12; making a complete Christian school.  

          Our current staff, Bro. Steve and Mrs. Wallace, has a combined total of over 80 years of service in Christian Education

Working with Bro. Steve is Mrs. Debby Wallace.  Together, the two have over 80 years experience in Christian Education.

Tabernacle Day Care Center was born in November, 1970.

          The purpose of the center was to provide a wholesome Christian atmosphere where children may be loved and cared for while their parents are working.  The purpose has remained the same all these years.
